Or is something else entirely whats causing the problem? Where I replaced "Skyrim - Textures.bsa" with the 5 custom bsas and placed them among the two lists in order to avoid the 255 (or was it 250?) character limit. SResourceArchiveList2=Skyrim - Voices.bsa, Skyrim - Voicesixtra.bsa, Skyrim - Meshes.bsa, Skyrim - T4.bsa, Skyrim - T5.bsa SResourceArchiveList=Skyrim - Misc.bsa, Skyrim - Shaders.bsa, Skyrim - T1.bsa, Skyrim - T2.bsa, Skyrim - T3.bsa, Skyrim - Interface.bsa, Skyrim - Animations.bsa, Skyrim - Sounds.bsa SResourceArchiveList2=Skyrim - Voices.bsa, Skyrim - Voicesixtra.bsa SResourceArchiveList=Skyrim - Misc.bsa, Skyrim - Shaders.bsa, Skyrim - Textures.bsa, Skyrim - Interface.bsa, Skyrim - Animations.bsa, Skyrim - Meshes.bsa, Skyrim - Sounds.bsa To register these, I need to open Skyrim.ini located in C:\.\Documents\My Games\Skyrim and change the lines lets say I break my unpacked textures bsa files into 5 bsas (each is about <2gb), and name them I believe I am properly registering the bsa files in the ini, but maybe I am wrong.

I even tried unpacking "Skyrim - Voices.bsa", changing a single files, and repacking it with fomm and obmm, but the game wont read it all npcs are silent in game. Now the problem is that the game won't read the new bsa files. I am using fomm to unpack the bsa files, as obmm won't let me do it. My plan was to create several texture bsa files that I would then register in the Skyrim.ini, as this process gave me a significant fps improvement in Oblivion (as well as decreasing stuttering and improving overall stability). I overwrote the textures located in "Skyrim - Textures.bsa" with those of the DLC, and then added a few texture mods on top of these. After downloading the HD textures DLC, I proceeded to unpack the two bsa files, as well as the origianl "Skyrim - Textures.bsa".
