I have talked several times to the support people at AVG, but they had no willingness to accept their product is not effective to work in my computers nor want to return my money back. The computer engineer said that in fact the anti-virus program was the reason of my computer performance to be too slow and that he also found some virus in the hard drive that went in through the system while having the anti-virus (AVG) when the CD container box has printed that it prevents these viruses to enter in the computer system. I called some of the program companies to re-install the program, and after an hour trying to install the program, they found out that the program for anti-virus (AVG) was interfering with the operating system. I like the product, but not so much that I plan on wasting time like this in the future when I need to call them. If AVG wants my business this time next year, they're really going to have to improve their business and customer service. At least I could understand the second representative better than the first. I've wasted two hours today dealing with it. I explained that the email doesn't work and then he advised me that AVG has to email me first and then I respond to that email with a case number. I called AVG again and got representative Ryan, who told me at first to email AVG. The numbers listed for the United States all transfer to India. I searched online and I couldn't find a single method for US customers to file a complaint, leave feedback or contact a customer service representative in this country. He told me to email I did so and received an email that the email address is no longer active. I asked the representative Eric (I doubt that's his real name as I've worked in a call center and know that Indian representatives are told to use "Americanized" names to make themselves more relatable) how I could leave feedback. In the end, nothing could be done except for me to simply accept what happened. I called AVG and was transferred to a representative in India, who I could barely understand and who at times couldn't understand me.
